Spotting

I started spotting about 30 minutes ago.  I've been taking progesterone suppositories since IUI#2 and I've always had to stop the progesterone for a day or two before AF would arrive.  Since I'm still on the progesterone I can only suspect that the spotting has something to do with the embie.

I left a message for the nurse to request a beta tomorrow... I want my RE to know that I DID get pregnant so we can work on how to STAY pregnant.

I'm not looking forward to all of the trick or treaters coming to my door shortly.  I'd prefer to start my cry now... but it will have to wait.  We get a TON of trick-or-treaters in my neighborhood... and I'm going to put on a brave face until it's time to turn out the front porch light.

  1. Quick cry... seriously, could the timing for this be any worse with babies and toddlers about to stroll up my front walk?

  2. Cry, Cry, today..

Tomorrow is a new day. I'm praying that the second line gets darker tomorrow and everything will be fine.

  3. I've spotted each attempt even with the progesterone. It not mean the worst. I hope you get some smiles from the trick-or-treaters.

  5. Agh. So sorry. I'll still hold out hope though until you get that beta done. Good luck with the trick-or-treaters! I hope they leave you enough good candy to help soothe some of the tears. Nothing like 5 candy bars to cheer the mood a little, at least temporarily.

  6. I hope so much that this is going to stick. You never ever know because everybody's system functions uniquely. I've heard of women who actually bleed a little when their period is supposed to come, for months, but have perfectly healthy children. Such situations are rare though.

Keeping you in my thoughts, and hell yes eat some of that candy!!

  7. I spotted with my progesterone a few times early during my first trimester. I'm just going to continue to hold out for you and hope its the same(not that I'm hoping you'll spot as I did).

  8. I am thinking positive pregnant thought for you. As far as trick or treaters, I only had one kids come by and he is my friend's boy. Loved his costume - police officer.

  9. I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts, too! I know a lot of people who spotted on progesterone, it can be really irritating to your cervix. I hope that's the case. In the meantime, I'm glad the trick-or-treaters are making you smile.

  11. I live in a big apartment building and we don't get any trick-or-treaters in here. Take heart and know that one day you'll be the mommy taking her kid up to the door - I just know it.

Keep us updated - but I'm not giving up hope just yet. Praying for you.
