Hope

This is what Hope looks like to me.

My remaining two embabies did not survive to freeze.

My original fear when the doctor recommended putting these four back was the possibility of multiples... that fear has now been replaced with... what if none of them stick???

I am doing my best to stay optimistic and continue to hold on to hope.  I have no reason to believe one (or more) will not stick.  It's only 4dp3dt... I still have a long way to go in this 2ww!

  1. I'm sorry the other two didn't make it. I'm also undergoing an IVF cycle (donor egg) as a single woman so I suspect I'm in a similar place.

It might not be the time to ask it, but has your RE given you any indication about the quality of the embryos she transfered? I got very different info from my RE before and after my own IVF cycle. And with this DE cycle she's been very frank about not their size but their level of fragmentation, which goes to how they are scored.

    Best wishes on your cycle.

  2. For what its worth, I think your really have a good chance of this cycle working. The fact that your other two embabies did not make it (so sorry) does not have anything to do with the ones you are cooking right now!
They really do look very lovely

  8. They are beautiful! And remember, they're where they belong, inside your warm and cozy uterus, and are more likely to thrive there than in a petri dish.
